What is Startup School?
Startup School provides practical hands-on education to founders and their teams. It is offered at all our Campus locations globally. During these classroom-style sessions Googlers and subject-matter experts teach the skills growing startups need.
What you can expect from this Startup School session?
This session is all about getting to grips with Google Ads. This is a hands-on course for beginners on Google Ads - if you think you are more experienced you might want to take a look at the advanced Google Ads session (check the Campus events page for updates) or continue learning online.
In this session, through interactive exercises and discussions, you will gain the skills to:
understand the landscape, metrics and mechanics of how the search auction works,
- understand the function campaigns and ad groups and their different settings,
- understand the different keyword match types available and when to use each one,
- write compelling ad copy and implement all basic ad extensions at your disposal.
The course is most suitable for startups thinking about using paid search as a part of your digital marketing, or if you have just started in paid search and are looking to ensure you are set up with best practice.
